Tube Furnaces

Carbolite Gero tube furnaces provide excellent temperature uniformity and are ideal for heating small samples.

Carbolite Gero tube furnaces provide excellent temperature uniformity and are ideal for heating small samples.

Each tube furnace can be modified to meet your exact needs. When specified at the order stage tube furnaces can be upgraded to include sophisticated digital controllers, programmers, and loggers. Over-temperature protection is also available along with additional safety features such as insulation plugs and radiation shields.

Some Carbolite Gero tube furnaces are designed with an integral work tube while others require a separate work tube. This is an extremely flexible arrangement; work tubes are available in different diameters and materials (quartz, ceramic or metal). When a work tube of an adequate length is used, a standard tube furnace can easily be upgraded for use with a controlled atmosphere or a vacuum.

Split Tube Furnaces

Metrohm ANZ Retsch Pellet Presses

A split tube funace is a tube furnace that can be opened to allow for the easy installation and removal of work tubes and reaction vessels. Carbolite Gero's TS split tube furnace range is constructed in two halves, joined together with hinges, and fitted with pneumatic dampening struts for ease of opening.

Rotary Tube Furnaces

Metrohm ANZ Retsch Dust Analyser

Rotary furnaces are ideal for physicochemical processing.

The TSO rotary tube furnace is perfect for use in the laboratory to process batches of materials. Originally developed in partnership with the Imperial College of Science & Technology in London, the furnace allows samples to be heated and mixed simultaneously in a controlled atmosphere.

Gradient Tube Furnaces

Metrohm ANZ Retsch Dust Analyser

These compact split tube furnaces are specifically designed to provide a temperature gradient along the length of the heated zones. They use free radiating wire elements embedded within the insulation of the furnace body. The benefit of this design is its flexibility; with the use of tube adapters the same furnace can be used with a variety of tube diameters.
