The Autolab IMP is a compact potentiostat/galvanostat with included EIS functionality. The overall specifications of the Autolab IMP (±10 V compliance/measured/applied voltage, ±100 mA measured/applied current, 10 μHz to 1 MHz EIS frequency range and included analog integrator) make it the ideal instrument for any educational lab, as well as for starting any electrochemistry projects.Autolab IMP is controlled by and delivered with the powerful NOVA software, including a dedicated “EC Fundamentals” procedures library, making the electrochemistry educational process even easier. The Analog and digital inputs/outputs are available to control Autolab accessories and external devices.

The entry level in the Autolab range of electrochemical instruments, the Autolab/PGSTAT101 in combination with the powerful NOVA software, can be used for most of the standard electrochemical techniques. Autolab/PGSTAT101 is an affordable potentiostat/galvanostat without compromising on quality and specifications, making it an ideal instrument for students and educational purposes.The small footprint allows you to place a high quality potentiostat/galvanostat on a crowded workbench. Analog and digital inputs and outputs for interfacing and controlling external devices are available. The Autolab/PGSTAT101 comes with an internal dummy cell and a built-in analog integrator. 

The PGSTAT204 combines the small footprint with a modular design. The instrument includes a base potentiostat/galvanostat with a compliance voltage of 20 V and a maximum current of 400 mA or 10 A in combination with the BOOSTER10A. The potentiostat can be expanded at any time with one additional module, for example the FRA32M electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) module.The PGSTAT204 is an affordable instrument which can be located anywhere in the lab. Analog and digital inputs/outputs are available to control Autolab accessories and external devices are available. The PGSTAT204 includes a built-in analog integrator. In combination with the powerful NOVA software it can be used for most of the standard electrochemical techniques.

Metrohm Autolab offers and ECAT compact package that offers electrochemical instrumentation and accessories with an industry-leading 3-year warranty as standard. With a compact PGSTAT204 equipped with a dual-mode bipotentiostat module. The Autolab ECAT compact package comes with free NOVA 2 software that provides built-in Levich and Koutecky – Levich analysis methods for fast and easy data analysis. Included in the package is also a Rotating Ring Disk Electrode (RRDE) that is high precision with an ultra-low noise electrode rotation from 100 to 10,000 RPM. A complete RRDE electrochemical cell is also included in the package. Possible applications include: electrocatalyst material testing, mechanistic information,: detection of intermediates via collection and shielding experiments (RRDE), electrochemical kinetics studies, mass-transport properties with forced convection conditions. This package offers high-quality standard measurements including those under forced convection conditions.
